Right. Next up: Slessor Gardens.
This scene needs the sequence of Elaine getting the phone call, and then a crow coming to talk to Maria. We also need to ensure the game flows from this point onwards to the end.
One issue is, I don’t know where a crow would land here.
Except the wooden thing, but that’s blocked by Maria in the game. So I guess just the ground? I guess we’ll see.
However, it’s best to start with Elaine’s sprites. We need her getting a phone call (beep beep sound effect and her expression changing), her being on the phone, and her hurrying off.
I might need to take a walking or running break at some point to not develop a computer headache, but we’ll cross that bridge when we’ll get there. For now, I’ll start with Elaine’s sprites - I’ll do the sound effect last and start with the other sprites.
I’ve clearly not thought about the future me, because this is only one layer:

I did - there was larger scale version of this with all the layers, so I did some Krita magic and long story short I now have her noticing her phone:

If I can just have her running off with the last sprite here, without having to draw a sprite where she’s running, as I’m aware of the time. If it looks ridiculous, I’ll figure something out!
However, before I proceed I just realised I do need to add scarf to Elaine for all her sprites, as the scarf becomes important later on in the story.
And now, before implementing this to Unity, I believe I need to take a break as my head is screaming headache.
